Bringing your parents to Forest City: a two-day plan
When you travel with older parents, rushing is the thing to avoid. This plan has just one main thing each day and leaves the rest for resting: golf on day one, a seaview apartment for the night, and a boat trip on day two.
Day one: a round at the Golf Resort

If your dad plays golf, spend day one at the Golf Resort. There are two 18-hole courses, and the Legend Course runs along the Pulai River mangrove reserve.
The Golf Trip event is free — just sign up first. No car needed: some FC2 buses stop at the Golf Hotel, and the ride from the Transportation Hub to the Golf Hotel is free. Check the Transport page for times.
Golf TripNight one: stay at Blue Horizon

Blue Horizon is a seaview serviced apartment, and its themed packages are for four guests — about right for a family trip.
It also offers themed packages, including a mangrove cruise and sea fishing, so if you're planning a boat trip on day two, ask about it when you book. Bookings are by phone or email.
Blue HorizonDay two: a boat trip through the mangroves

Sleep in on day two — no early start needed — then board at the Forest City marina jetty for the Mangrove Eco Tour.
It's free but you need to register. Departure times are on the event page.
Mangrove Eco TourOr go sea fishing with Dad

If someone in the family loves fishing, swap day two for the Sea Fishing Trip. It also boards at the Forest City marina jetty, and it's also free with registration.
Pick either the mangroves or the fishing — one boat trip a day is plenty. Save some energy for the trip home.
